So who is the king of 928 land?
-This question brings to the fore the issue of qualifications. What makes the King of 928? Design? Attitude? Achievement?
You decide.
In 928-land, I am personally a purist. My diatribes prove this. And they also make me invalid as a choice.... as if I was to begin with.
Should I start a poll to determine this? No. First of all, it is just fun and NOT serious, so it means nothing. And there are lots of very nice people who post here, including me.
SO. Here it goes, the first few people online that I think qualify to be the "king" of 928:
1. Nicole
-Nobody has a more encyclopaedic knowledge of things 928 than her. And when she responds to a thread it is always in depth, in correct and wholy readable English, and to the point. And she's writing in a language that is not her mother tongue.
2. Tim Murphy
-The folks in Stuttgart really need to be careful when they consider what herr Murphy has acheived. He's doubled the stock horsepower in a package that has the same hood crest yet costs 1/10 the price of their competitive product. Lots of hard work on his part.
3. Andy
Another hard worker, and he has achieved the same thing, though with a different blower. And he posts his quarter mile times too-
4. Mark Anderson
Where would we all be without 928 International?
Who else?
N!

King and queens of the message board!! Wow. How 'bout the guys who designed the 928? I would say the folks at Devek or 928 Specialists would be my choices, for knowledge. I don't agree with the Nicole choice, nice lady and no offense intended.

I don't believe in KINGS and QUEENS and such. There are great and helpful and wonderful people here. There are people here and not here that are amazing enthusiasts. Are they kings and queens? Not in my opinion. They are just what they are. Nice, selfless, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, enthusiastic and able people and I love and respect them for that. Why do we need to choose a Baal?

No, you know who will be King? The one who figures out my clunking noise before **** breaks. That will be the new heir to the thrown. So far Greg from Precision and Mark A are both stumped.
