I need to officially and on record say that I would like first dibs on this car when you sell it Chuck. I own one of your previous cars as you know and while it is going to be totally different then the pristin original that you let go, I would love to own another one that you deemed good enough to own for any length of time.
I am fully serious.

Thanks all, it really is a very cool looking car! It will probably not see a whole lot of use and will remain in the same condition (only cleaner than it is now). I like the thought of preserving an original. More pics to follow......
SharkSkin,
Would you happen to have that terminal cover on your car? Same as later cars? I have a 1978 brochure that shows the engine bay and no cover. I must add, this particular picture is also shown without a strut bar brace so who knows!
The car is also missing the original books ( I do have the window sticker, temp registration and a couple other docs from the selling dealer). Do you have an original air compressor from the spare tire well, this car is also missing this piece. Its also missing the jack.
Can you email any pics of these items? chuck@928registry.org
BD, Unfortunately yes, it appears to have the original timing belt. That will be changed post haste as will all the fluids, plugs..... Only thing that I know for sure was done to the car is, the fuel system has been taken apart and cleaned. Wonder how old the gas is in the tank. Any suggestions regarding cleaning and emptying the tank and fuel system?
Brendan,
I have a really nice 1993 GTS for sale???? I always wanted to have the first year and the last year. Probably will keep this one for a VERY long time.

Now, where is that Pearlglanz 1995 GTS.................

Yes, as long as it wasn't tobacco.
Lime green with the Victor Vasarely op-art interior is perfect! - as is the rest of the car: from one obviously good home to another - enjoy.

Holy Smoke Dude. The color is definitely not my cup of tea but the age, condition, and combination makes that car very attractive especially for its nestalgic value. That is definitely a show vehicle. And I expect it to be shown . Man I am truly impressed by the care for that vehicle.

Gotta love that interior. The head P.R. guy for Volvo has a 78 with that interior in storage over in England. Not sure of the exterior color.Last I spoke with him he had no plans to bring it to the states. That is a beautiful car.
