Awesome! Feel free to visit our website (www.shippsbbq.com) - you can purchase some there. We'd be happy to ship some to you. I wish I could get this off the ground. It's my father's recipe since I was a kid and we've just recently started selling it to the public. If you like to BBQ, I welcome you to try it. If anyone knows anyone who has a grocery store or chain, please send me an e-mail.

- beautiful car. I like the GTS mirrors - I'd thought of placing them on mine. Are those 17" wheels as well? My OEM '91 looks older than your revised 87.

I actually started around 1980 programming on a Radio Shack TRS-80, then purchased an Atari-800 (with an extra "16K" of RAM) and wrote some interesting architecture programs; then progressed into Fortran IV/77 during high school, then mainframe IBM/370 Assembler after college. Yes, I developed in Assembler for about 8 years. We needed it's raw speed to process billions of records at blazing speeds. Nothing can match the speed of Assembler....but I haven't touched it much in the past decade or so.

Now, I specialize in web development (PHP, sql, etc) and software development (Delphi, etc). Sadly, this economy has really hit this small company I'm working for, so if I don't get some gigs soon, I may be looking for work. :/

I spent the last 30+ years fixing broken people (orthopedic surgeon) .

Still envy those who, when repair difficult, can start over with all fresh parts.

Am convinced people take better care of their cars then their bodies, then expect people like me to make up for years of deferred maintainence.

We have a family friend that works in Aberdeen in a similar position. [however, he has a Ferrari...]

I am teamleader in a IT support team at a major printer production company. Our team is supporting about 4500 PC's and a substantial amount of servers and network components. I graduated electronics engineer, and moved along in IT support for about 25 year now. Some components from those days were 16kb memory pcb's at A4 size and harddisks of 3Mb. Hard to imagine now. Electronics has become my hobby again, next to may passion for cars and expecially the 928.
I love the 928 which has become more than just a hobby....

regards
Theo

I am a Dyslexic, Insomniac Philosopher. I lie awake at night wondering if there really is a Dog.

OK, OK. I'm actually an unemployed Philosopher.

OK, OK. Make that unemployable.

Cool thread, glad it was resurrected. I'm a Systems Architect/Integration specialist, been working heavily with Salesforce.com the past few years and really enjoy it. Got my degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1992 and worked for the railroad for a couple years before deciding it really wasn't for me. Took a 45% pay cut to run network cable through ceilings and have never looked back. Best decision I ever made.

Car nut my whole life, love Rx7s, Porsches and Ferraris, and the occasional classic. On 928 #2, considering another toy for the stable.
