My 18 year old nephew has been over most weekends / afternoons helping get the two 928's ready. He's really getting excited the more I tell him about the event.
3 days of talking cars and all the different personalities / opinions / experiences is really going to be good for this kid.
Last year (June) he went on his first ever road trip, with me flying out to Los Angeles to drive my "new" (to me) Yukon home. He got to meet Rob Edwards and Mark Anderson and has been asking ever since when our next road trip is.
Was really pushing to have the blue car on the road for SITM but time got the best of me. Will just have to jump in the white car (which is way overdo for suspension overhaul).
This is about as far as I can get before needing to hit the road tomorrow. A clutch job, intercooler plumbing, and a whole lot of tuning short, but it will make it another event soon.
Really wanted to attend my first, but family plans the weekends prior mean I will have to spend the June 1st weekend finishing the intake refresh on my 91. Looking forward to joining next year’s event and meeting the many wonderful participants of this forum!
The bottle on the left is a ceramic bottle for Kraken rum. I am stupid like that and bought it. In this photo, I am about to pour the rum from the bottle on the right into the bottle on the left.
It is foolish, but makes me happy.

THE 928 Buckeye Landsharks!
STRIKE THAT! BELAY MY LAST!! Plans have changed. Heading out tomorrow in the 81 Euro for the far side of Pittsburgh, PA, then Wilmington, DE, for a few days of computer reimaging / work. Then Friday headed down to NC to join up with the rest of the 928 Buckeye Landsharks and all the other 928 hooligans. I haven't made it to SITM in a while so I'm looking forward to this one! Bringing a bottle of Buckeye Landshark Bourbon and Buckeye Landshark Limoncello and of course CIGARS to celebrate.
