I believe I’m getting close to sending the ‘79 away for a new interior. I’m pretty set on pasha but because I have so little that wouldn’t be redone, I also have the option to go a completely different combination than I was currently contemplating.(brown) Please let me know what you feel would look best against my Casablanca Beige Shark.Hopefully you guys can have a little fun with this.
There's brown beige which always seemed washed out to me. Probably get flack for this but theres a case to made that Pasha is being overdone.... what about this?
That car looks great by the way.. one of those colors that's is becoming in vogue again.

that’s cool. The carpets are brown but I think I’m getting new so I could do whatever. I really like the cork interior but I’m afraid it would clash with the paint.

I know pasha is a 928 thing, but it's not for me. When buying my convertible, the seller had both a black and a pasha interior and I took the black one. One thing I don't like about pasha is that the seat surfaces are cloth, which is hot, can get stained, doesn't allow for slight body positioning adjustments while doing long drives because your clothes kind of stick to cloth, and it wears out.
If your dead-set on pasha the laser embossed stuff Brian is doing is the way to go IMO and with your exterior color, something in a dark chocolate brown (like Porsche's cocoa) would be gorgeous.
I'm no Pasha god by any means. But I tend to concur with drooman, the beige pasha seems a little dull. But brown seats with maybe black and white pasha would certainly make a big pop...!
Some pictures for inspiration....
You could also go with a solid color on the seats,
and add Pasha to the door inserts and the parcel trays and center console ,
Classic 9 makes them last set I got was 300.00. Everything is removable if you want to change it.
NOTE this car also got a fresh set of carpets with Sliverknit carpet made by Classic 9 about 1100.00 for the 30 piece set.
NOTE I would not use Cork for a carpet color,
I would go with Cashmere or Tan something in the same color as the exterior, and dark brown seats.
NOTE also this car has sisal COCO mats these were the closest color I could find that matched the carpets
Not any kind of God either, but please show what your current interior colors are to see what came stock in your car. It can provide great guidance.
The exterior color of your car is beautiful IMO. It reminds me of the '82 Weissach's. Look at their interiors for some further inspiration.
here are some pics, mostly intact, prior to me “fixing” items. The brown is just a little “blah” although the brown/beige pasha would help, I just want to see if there is a “perfect” pick. I was hoping to have Classic9 do it. Waiting to hear back from Rod. The sail panels, headliner and visors are all in pretty good shape as an fyi.
Personally I find too much dark leather to be kinda dull unless it is in perfect condition. It just gets so dark in the car, you cannot see anything. Lighter carpets help, but still. I would not go with different color leather centers. This is something which (I think) the factory never did, so to me it always looks reworked. So, your options are cloth inserts, lighter color piping, or just lighter color seats. Personally, I LOVE cork and pasha, but it might or might not go with your exterior color. Also, on later years, there was a rare but wonderful mahogany color. I like what Guy did above. Don't know but that might have started life as all dark brown and he redid the seats, carpets, door and rear quarters in the lighter color. In any case it works pretty well in the tan, with the center, dash and roof trim still dark brown.

Maybe in person, or to your eye, but in the pictures that looks like a very nice, rich brown that can be restored to a great look. "Perfect" IMO is either stock or a personally meaningful look that you are trying to achieve or pay tribute to.

Except! for, to a degree, the 1982 Weissach's! I never noticed their approach, however, which is not just the inserts, but the adjacent bolster portion also (which may invalidate my point).
Porsche (or someone) apparently applied that same approach with Pasha to this 959 (Brumos Museum).

My car had that same brown interior and the previous owner, rightfully in my opinion, had the interior redone in this fairly common in period two-tone brown and tan. Champagne I think the leather is called. A hundred times better and no longer dark and drab. The interior really pops now, especially with the weak factory tint!
You can't go wrong getting rid of all that brown, in my opinion.
