Angry People SUCK!

...generally speaking.

Took my 89GT to Pittsburgh this past weekend to a seminar. Weather was unbeatable, every break I got I went outside to check on car and grab some solar juice. At the last break I find that some SFB (shi* for brains) had backed into my car mashing my already cracked rear bumper cover. Big scuffs, two new major cracks...etc.

There's more...

Gave two Boxster owners a ride downtown for food and brew, (totally rocking their world), parked waaay out of the way. Came back hours later and 8 'homies' were all over it. One guy leaning on it. I snap pushing the a-wipe off the car. 8 to 3, not smart odds, but they ended up wanting to know all about it.

And more...

Sunday I just had to stop at Primantis' (best sandwich in the world), park next to a rice rocket. At one point I look out the window and I see this maggot turning his bike around within the parking stall, bumping his tire into the front quarter panel. Drop sandwich and go inspect car. This time no damage just anger.

Can't freakin' have anything nice anymore, Mother F****** people just got no respect any longer.

This is why the state won't issue me a conceled weapons permit.

Default Bite Back!!!!

Scott maybe you can get one of those phaser things..no evidence left behind seen on Sci Fi..or how about this ..think about electrifing the whole car with a energy shield from our cars electrical system..i hear that its pretty powerful..of course an alarm with a verbal warning of the (shock)bite they will get from the car if instructions are not followed may be needed for legal reasons..Also a remote for your re-entry in your vehicle would be nice.. then after that its all up to those little freeekin you know.. to what choice they want to make... and if and by chance they survive an attack who is going to believe them that a porsche bit back at them :# :#

Pathetic and sad the lack of respect for other people's stuff anymore, isn't it? I'm always careful not to touch the guy next to me's door, even when he's driving some $350 s-box. Why? Because it's not my $350 s-box.

I remember once having to yell at some white-trash-momma for leaning her fat A$$ against my MBZ and chatting it up with one of her equally worthless friends. She continued to do so, even as it was clear it was my car and I was walking to up to it.

The really unbelievable part was she saw nothing wrong in using a $50K car (that wasn't hers) for a place to lean while she had an important discussion about diapers (really). I can't wait to see how irresponsible her kids turn out. Keep building jails, we're gonna need more cells.

We simply must up the amount of chlorine in the shallow-end of the gene-pool.

BTW- There is a way you can actually hook up a coil to the car body and make somebody's day a bit more shocking. But not 928 appropriate. A Taser, or even a contact stun-gun, on the other hand can be quite entertaining on the right dirtbag...

A buddy of mine used to make stun gun-like zappers out of flash units like used on a 35mm SLR camera. They fit in a cigarette pack. One time he was over and had one. Naturally he was messing with it (I wouldn't touch it) and next thing I know he's flopping on the floor. The damned thing really knocked the hell out of him, with four AA batteries mind you. But not really as effective a deterent as my Sig Sauer, but my doctors suggested I leave it at home.

I made a flash gun zapper when I was a kid at school, I put it in a small box marked "DO NOT TOUCH" and watched as each and every person who saw it picked it up and yelped. I've not yet worked out how to apply the same technique to the car though.

I find it really hard to decide where to draw the line between being careful about the car and seeming overly precious. My girlfriend is only just starting to understand that you don't have to slam the door if the other door or window/roof is open.

I do always practice defensive parking, when living in London that is essential.

People suck, but at least you can get pissed off at them.

I've had a number of curbs pop up out of no where and wound my poor car. Who can it get pissed at? Me? Well, I guess so, but dang it thats not very satifying.

If you want to know how to properly electrify your car, Barry one of Dave's friends did it and has witnesses to his sucess. After it knocked the kid off his feet, the perp called the cops and almost got Barry arrested. It might not seem fair, but it is assault according to the cops. May want to hold off building one powerful enough to hurt unless you can completely vaporize the corpse!

Good luck

Scott,

What part of town was the car parked when it was backed into? And, which Pirmanti's did you go to--sounds like the one in the strip.

Agreed--best sandwich in town and the weather this weekend was awesome--finally.

Mmmmmm....Primanti's........

I really miss Pittsburgh sometimes. The one on the South side is the best. Can't explain why, it just is.

Anyway, this reminds me of my wife driving her 12 hour-old new car to work and a doctor hits her bumper at a 4 way stop (yakking on a phone, of course) and tears up the bumper cover, then proceeds to scream at my wife for 20 minutes until the cop shows up.

Happily enough, my wife finds out that the lady's husband is a doctor on the same floor...........

People, can't live with 'em, can't legally torture them!

Scott M.

There is a place on the net that sells a laser gun. It only works in short bursts and says it can kill flies and then some. Actually its a laser rifle. With this you can stealthly fry holes in tires, probably punch holes in glass, etch f*k you into a cars paint, mayhem, etc...

The device is about 600 bucks and it would be neat to burn out the equipment of the photo radar guys in the white vans!

Good luck.
