It does that when the image file size is too large. Screen capture them on your phone, or download them from a cloud backup like Google photos where the image sizes are smaller.

Hmmm...I will have to look at the file sizes. I have been using a new Canon camera since last fall, but can't remember if I have posted photos from it or not. My other photos posted here have been from my phone. No issues there.

I live in Charleston, SC, but we have a house in Columbus about two hours south of Banner Elk. This was my first SITM but certainly won't be the last. Had a great time and enjoyed meeting a bunch of you. Can't believe how far some people traveled to enjoy it! Makes me feel spoiled to be just a couple of hours out. Thanks, Dave & Jeannie!!
