When we get closer to Werks Reunion registration, it would be interesting to know how many owners plan to have their cars judged and how many owners plan to park their 928's in the Corral.

I would opt to be on the judging field for Werks Reunion.

Judges field should be no problem getting more than a dozen on the WERKS field

Is it like a serious concours, or a people's choice concours? Several of us go in for the concours at Hershey every year because someone realized it's the best parking in the place and it only costs a few dollars.

The Werks Reunion Concours is not like a PCA event, which is focused almost entirely on your skill with Q-tips as a detailing tool. The Werks event is judged, but is much more about the cars, about having an interesting car with a good story.
And yes, great parking and not costly.

100% agree it's about the car and it's ownership/caretaker.
Amelia Island event is not like pebble Beach, no disrespect but their judges are more "detail" oriented. This event is for the passionate car owner. Example, my wife's '85 took 3rd place a couple years ago. With My welcome present to the Island, a rock chip in the windscreen crossing the bridge on the way to WERKS. Judges were more interested in the story than deduction of points.

I will post a full update at the end of each month with new developments, etc...

We currently have 31 928s committed thus far with another 10 who are STRONG maybes.

I'm expecting more after the fun of FRENZY dies down -- wish I was there!

Looking forward to hearing from individuals and, of course, the Texas Crew (Roger, Sean, Alex, etc...), more of the BLS (Buckeye Land Sharks) and Pete's Long Island Crew!

Hotel is still a good rate.... get it while you can!

Hi, this is my first post here. I posted on the OR forum...not sure which is better or the politics of these.

Anyway, I booked a room at the hotel and got accepted with the 911 at C&C. I've asked them to put me on the 928 waitlist, but anything anybody can do to help would be appreciated.

Pics attached. (no comments about the wrinkled nose....she's getting a nose job in about two weeks along with some paint corrections and wrapping the rear quarter trim, all of which I am eagerly awaiting). I will be asking for some advice on the exhaust options, because it is pretty loud and I'm conservative and stock, at least when it comes to my cars...

Have you checked for a piece of masking tape on the bottom of glove box with 4-digits showing the sequential build number that includes both US & ROW Versions. For instance I have VIN 9288101587 (#1577 of ROW built) but production line tape with #2332 under box.
