My 1990 is one step closer to being ready for 2021 Rendezvous 928. Howard from European Classics in Atlanta reunited the rebuilt engine with the car today!
Okay, I'm going to try like hell to make this. My brother lives in Jax, I think only a few miles from the hotel, so I'll probably stay with him. Let me read through the 7(!) pages of posts and try to get my **** in one bag on this.
Edit: Okay, tracking. I sent in my C&C request, we'll see what happens.
For those who were hoping (dreading?) to see me show up in my Rosso Corsa 928 with the white stripe: He's still not fixed. However, I'm picking up a well-sorted '84 driver when I get back from my deployment. The car's had a minor shunt, and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get it repaired before this trip. Bit. he'll drive with a dented and scraped rear quarter, even if he doesn't show very well.

Updated post #1 with additional info, summary numbers (29 928s confirmed and another 10-12 likely) plus important guidance on continuing to apply for C&C and getting Waitlisted for C&C.
Here's what I said -
The Cars & Coffee at the Concours is putting 928s on a waitlist - We have 22 cars already accepted (which is HUGE!). They may be out of room for us in the C&C but @RSMartin and I will try very hard to get more 928s in. To help us do that, please continue to apply (CLICK ME to APPLY)
It is VERY important to notify us you are on the WAITLIST. I am keeping track and if any of the originally accepted cars withdraws and tells me NOT the C&C officials, we will get you off the waitlist in a first come, first served order!

Well, as big as C&C will be, Werks Reunion is going to be huge! Good to know you've submitted. I'll put you on the internal waitlist I am tracking, too.

For us first-timers, would you happen to know how Werks...uhh.....works? Is it just a show up at O-Dark-Thirty and hang out type of thing? Or register and show whenever?
