Very sorry for your misfortune, Dwayne! I sincerely hope the situation will be wholly rectified.

THANKS everyone for the support and for spreading the word. This is a GREAT community!
To answer the question above, car was driven away using one of its keys (which was hidden away). Since car and hidden key are both missing, the car is mobile.
Sorry to hear about this. Given the way it was driven away though with a hidden key........wild guess but maybe someone you know.
Car driven away using a hidden key is the clue that the person has been to your garage before, and had knowledge of your absence and where you placed the key. Should be ample fingerprint traces. This is not a coincidence.
As a side note to your local law enforcement, they can pull data records from the mobile towers of who was in your vicinity in the days of question (would require a Lawful Intercept subpoena to the operators). With such a small population size, zeroing in would be super easy.
FWIW,, DO NOT hide a Electronic key on a car,, you can find them with some pretty basic electronic test gear,, the immobilizer circuit just needs a reasonably close signal to trigger its firing out the programmed code that normally the lock ring picks up ..
The later ones require a code to trigger earlier systems just needed a specific frequency pulse...
Never ceases to amaze me that people commit serious crimes while carrying their tracking device.. I mean cell phone. In Connecticut we have (had) Fotis Dulos who carried his phone while he dumped his wife's body parts in various trash dumpsters throughout hartford. Google his name if you are curious about how justice was served.
Very sorry to hear this story about Dwayne and his Cassirot. This guy has done a lot for the community, not to mention the spectacular refurbishments on some special cars. If not done already be sure ask your police department to add it to the interpol database: https://www.interpol.int/Crimes/Vehi...-vehicle-crime this will at least limit the countries that the VIN could be registered in. You may have to chase this up to federal chain to make sure it happens.
If some "enterprising" idiot decides to sell parts off of it in the US they just may get spotted is the 928 community. Post your engine and trans serial #s as well Dwayne. Good Luck.
Same here in the "D", Dwayne, and from the sounds of it, well planned and most likely hauled in an enclosed trailer,
No neighborhood Ring device on your street?
This kind of post just sickens me. It's similar to the 911 that was stolen in CA after an open house where the owner had his house for sale, but they broke in through the garage by releasing the manual lock on the automatic garage door.
Dwayne, any cameras that look at your garage or driveway or any neighbors with cameras that have a view of the Street?
For about $100 you can get 4-5 HD Wyze cams with IR capability that also have a motion detection option. I have them in my garages, looking at my driveway, front door, boat dock, and the street above my driveway and a few other spots too.
I sure hope this car turns up and in good shape as it's way too nice to be lost, wrecked, or parted.
In case the worst happens, did you at least have an agreed value insurance policy on it?
any chance that the car went for service?
Possibly a mechanic spotted the key hiding spot
Now paid your garage a visit.
Just thinking out loud
I hope you find it fast in perfect condition
wow..this is off the charts. The odds are better today than ever for getting a ID on the car with the speed of social media though.
What did the police say?
Not sure of the size of your town but i would attempt to locate possible camera vantage points around your house/area....banks...traffic cams...and hit up the police/city. Nothing moves unseen today at some point. This is just a missing car though, not a rental truck used in some terrorist act. It will be hard.
Gas stations. How much gas was in the car.? Figure the range, circle on the map and put the detective hat on.
im sure the obvious scour ebay and craigslist has been done.
so sorry to hear. We will find it!!!
30 mi ring around Oakridge.... not too many ways out ..here are gas stations.
The tools are there.
