That's great. Looking forward to the update once you've put eyes on her and have her back.

Do you now change your ignition and door locks in case the thieves made copies or took photos of the keys?

It would be fascinating to hear how they went about finding her, although LE might not want to give up all their moves.

Did you get all the other shop stuff back? You have to wonder what these people were thinking. I wonder if maybe the shop clean-out were the original purpose, then they saw the car and thought "Ooh, shiny..." which was likely their undoing.

Awesome news Dwayne! So happy to hear such good news. Can you update us on the outcome of the case? Wondering if it was an "inside" job by someone who's worked on your property, etc. Is the home owner arrested?

Great News Dwayne and all involved. I hope that the thieves get put away for a long time, and that their method of getting the car is announced to our group. I an very interested if it was someone with inside information.

When I read your first post I was sitting on the couch with my wife and apparently I gasped out loud because she asked me what was wrong. I just can't imagine what you have been going through as I know I wouldn't be getting any sleep not knowing where my car was or what someone else were doing with it or to it.

So good to hear that it was found and intact. Hopefully it won't be a long process to go through to get it back into your possession.

That’s awesome news! Glad you are getting her back.

I have cameras all over my shop and it’s right in my back yard. I don’t think I could have all my stuff off premises anymore.

I hope you get all of your other missing items back also.

Wow, Oakridge is a small town (and struggling these days): I am sure your car was the talk of the town before it was boosted. I am really happy to hear she is back and hopefully intact.

Way too many shooters and pill-popper zombies in Lane County these days.

I have SPOTtrace. A yearly subscription but pinpoints your asset with in about 3ft and tells you when it moves. I have needed it once and it paid for itself.

Glad this story had a happy ending!

Time for an alarm and cameras. Once upon a time I didn't about stuff like this until someone tried to kick down my door, when my wife was home, in the middle of the day. Luckily he got scared off but that incident changed the way we secure our property. We have cameras everywhere.

BTW - as others have pointed out most robberies are by people who are familiar with your property. While it can happen, most robberies are not by random people driving down the street.
