Default 150 dB Train Horn Installed

This gets them outta the way!

https://www.trendrun.com/products/150-db-train-horn-with-air-compressor

Installed in the location of the original horns forward of the pax side front wheel.

Spliced power off the original harness so original horns can be easily returned.

It is freaking loud!

Que Judas Priest: "Breaking the law."

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 27000 of the Vehicle Code is amended to read:

27000.
(a) A motor vehicle, when operated upon a highway, shall be equipped with a horn in good working order and capable of emitting sound audible under normal conditions from a distance of not less than 200 feet, but a horn shall not emit an unreasonably loud or harsh sound and a motor vehicle shall not be equipped with an aftermarket horn that emits a sound greater than 110 dB(A).

Anything wrong with the original horns or is it a case of being a Casey Jones fan?

This is even funnier when you consider Randy has the same outfit in the closet:

Nice!

Did something similar during my Cayenne build with a Marco Hurricane AND a Marco Tornado. One is a dual tone horn and the other a single tone but 3 unique octaves. I think each is 125-130 dB. If you move into my lane while looking at your cell phone, you're going to know it.

Might do something similar in the 928. Currently I have dual BadBoy air horns in it, but the Cayenne setup is superior. Cayenne setup is powered by an 80A relay using the horn wiring as the trigger with a 40A resettable breaker.
