That's what you get for living in a questionable neighborhood

Cool use for the air pump filter housing. This is also the perfect opportunity to recommend a K&N filter for the 928.

I have squirters and engine serial number is 6276, it is not the original engine for the car that I do know.

Greg,
The engine no. on the '87 is M28/41 81H 00236. The engine also has the cast oil filler neck, not the normal S4 plastic one. The VIN ends in 0469 and has the folding rear wing.

The engine block no. on the stroker in my '90 GT is from an '87 and has number M28/41 81H 00460. Possibly a squirter too, but didn't visually confirm it. Marc Thomas built the engine internals. I used that block because the cyl walls were thicker than those on the GT block.

Anders,
How much weight does that save?
Hmmm. Wonder if I can get license no. 666 for my white beast.

I've got one two. Car serial #0125. I wanted to polish it, but I ran out of time to get my car ready for the last SITM.

I know this is going to sound stupid and maybe I’m too lazy to research the subject, but would somebody tell me a quick way to locate the numbers on the block?

It's down in the V at the front of the engine, or at least it is on my S4:
