As the proud owner of the 1 of 1 special edition Mocha Braun Hacker-Pschorr 928 from 1981, it seemed only natural I adopt that screen name.

Burning Brakes
Growing up I was little blonde headed kid and an uncle took to calling me Elroy Jetson as the show was popular at the time. It stuck and thankfully friends shortened it to just Jetson. The number is last 4 digits of home phone number growing up, when there was one rotary dial phone in the house and a cord long enough to escape to some privacy in the hall.

Great thread idea.
When I purschased my first house about a decade ago I was really just looking for a garage with a detached house. Years of wrenching on all my cars in apartment parking lots got tiring and I could never really buy the project cars I wanted because of it. So when I got my house, literally about a week later before I bought any furniture, I furnished the garage with a 1970 Triumph GT6+. Thus GT6ixer which I chose when I joined the Triumph forums. It's pronounced "GT sixer" despite being spelled like "GT six ixer". Thought it looked cooler than GT6er.

For what it’s worth Nate,I have always pronounced it GT-6er...the correct way.
So I have a very bad habit of tearing into things on my cars without doing a lot of homework first. More responsible members like Stan and Bob will shake their heads to affirm this
After hamfisting something, if memory serves it was my brake pad sensors, I self professed this title
