Default Radio Shack remote control Porsche 928

Hello Gents,

I am bowled over right now. A family member found this in his travels and brought it to me.

Outstanding gift!!!

Cool!., Hey, it's ok if you want to paint it red, but at least run the batteries down once before you start "cleaning" it.

I see a similar one on eBay, but it is a smaller scale at 1:24. About $40 shipped, BIN, I think.

It's late 70s, early 80s. I remember them from when I was younger.

As far as "radio control" goes, they're pretty lame.

But as far as "cool 928 stuff" goes, they are up fairly high.

I have one too. It doesn't work, and I haven't dug into it to see why.

Wisconsin Joe, I agree. I have no real interest in it as a radio controlled car. However, this is way cool me me as 928 stuff!

Great gift Seth!

I have these 1/24 scale ones. The white one was a gift from my Girlfriend in High School in the 80's. The red one, I picked up on E-bay a couple years ago.

Cool piece Seth! Very nice of your family member. Heather found one on Ebay a few years back and got it for my birthday. Way cool gift.
