Fun at VIR
I had the good fortune to be able to take my 928 to a Chin track event at VIR over the 4th of July weekend. VIR is my "home track", not the reason I moved to NC but certainly a sweetener. Anyway, I needed an alternate car to take up for the Sunday portion of the event after taking my 944R on Saturday and the 928 fit the bill.
I have never had the 928 on track. My impressions in a nutshell are: great acceleration out of the corners. A little heavy in the corners. The cornering comment is based on a comparison to my 944 track car, which is not exactly fair. The 944 is much lighter and very stiffly sprung. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my day with the 928.

Fun ain't it?
Needs more tire, more spring, less weight and more power.
But fun!

Great to see a Shark on the track... and VIR is fabulous. Lucky guy that you're only an hour and a half away.
I'll bet your Shark isn't as "heavy in the corners" as that 2 ton Challenger behind you.

Sorry Ken, no video. Just a pleasant Sunday drive, without having to worry about on coming drivers, speeding tickets, and runoff areas
