If your talking about the LR Rogue MAF, it is supported without any issues. For datalogging, it does support the connector to Moates (the same as LR or Vitesse).

I also use Moates Ostrich 2 witout any issues.

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Charles

Sorry I was referring to my Rogue Tuning DME board.
I need to send it to FTECH9 for a defect repair but also wanted to coordinate the repair with an OBD2 upgrade when available for the Rogue DME as it is different than the Ftech9 board.

Thanks

Hi Joe - I had to re-solder all the joints to get my 1986 cooling fan relay working this past weekend. Do you have info about an early order of the SS relay?

Unfortunately, supporting OBD+ for the Rogue Tuning DME is more complicated than I originally imagined. One of the more notable issues is the OBD+ Module blocks all the configuration switches. The board is too tightly packed, and I cannot move parts to put in slots to access them. There is also the issue where I have made changes to the SPORT DME that enables some features. Ultimately, the Rogue Tuning DME is not going to be able to support the full range of features both current and planned. As an alternative, I have been considering offering a trade-up for the Rogue Tuning DME to the latest SPORT DME with the purchase of an OBD+ module. I would be able to reuse many of the more expensive parts, but there would be an additional charge of $100 to $200 just to break even. Another option is I could design a special OBD module with a reduced feature set. However, it would not be on the same firmware base and new features and other updates would be limited and not as frequent.

I am not sure what the best route is here. If anyone wants to chime in with thoughts or suggestions I would very much appreciate it.

I am getting very close to a high level of confidence in the new Solid-State Fan relay. I expect to start a formal thread on Rennlist next week and build an initial batch of Fan SSRs. There are still some verification and validation activities I need to do, but we are on track for a roll out in a week or two.

Out of curiosity, what are you using to do your board layouts?

Hi Jeff,

I use Eagle for all my current products. Nothing I am doing up to this point has been too complicated, so I have been able to get away with it. However, in a year or two I will I will likely need to switch to Altium. At that point I expect a level of product sophistication and diversity to justify the effort and cost to migrate. I will also be doing a lot more with Solidworks and I want to take advantage of the MCAD/ECAD integration these tools offer.

May I be so bold as to suggest KiCad? Version 6 is approaching Altium in sophistication and you can't beat the price.

(Bias disclosure: I'm a contributor to KiCad. But it's open source and completely free, so I gain nothing from its adoption beyond pride.)

Hi Folks - does any one have the stock DME and KLR binary or hex files for a 1986 951 (DME sticker is 1267355235)?
It appears that mine were upgraded by Club Sport Autowerks Engineering and there's no reference to what might have been done.
I did find a DME binary file from Rogue's Tuner Pro Bundle but can't find any KLR binaries in my rennlist and google searches.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Hello Mike,

I do have the KLR but I need to open it to get the EEPROM. I have plans on this anyway. For the DME, I need to check if I have the original... So many changes made during years of work.

I can give you BIN and HEX files.

They come from a 1986 951 USA (California)

Will try to give you this before tomorrow end of day.

Cheers,
Charles

Thanks - if it's just the KLR that's fine - can you record the code number on the sticker while you are in there? Assuming it should be 1267355138.
