Default FS: Bare blocks w/matching balance shafts + covers, and good condition cranks

Hey guys, I have four 2.5 liter blocks with matching shafts/covers/crank girdles taking up space in my garage. They will all need overboring or sleeving to be used.

I also have four cranks in good condition, ready to run.

$85 ea for the blocks and $85 ea for the cranks

Located in South Austin, Tx but willing to ship at buyers expense.

Edit: Also have a bunch of other engine components for sale. Two oil pans, one early and one late. Also have 3 sets of NA rods and pistons, an NA head, and a loaded cam tower with lifters for sale.

The bare blocks with shafts and girdle weigh a hair over 70 lbs and as long as the box is under 150#, it can be shipped pretty inexpensively. my guess would be around $80 dollars but I can certainly get a more accurate quote for you.

I've shipped block+bal shafts+crank from CA to VA for $120 via UPS GROUND in a nice wooden crate.

So you're about half the distance, figure maybe $80-$100?

without the crank it'd be even less cause it'd be under the freight weight limit. I'd say $100 is a good high end cutoff estimate.

The one I referenced was probably 3-4 years ago, and the crank was in the same box as the block that time, no separate crate like yours was...and the crate was smaller than the box/tub your block came in because it didn't have a timing belt tensioner stud to clear (87+ block).

In hindsight the wooden box approach would have been a breath of fresh air.

Just a note to everyone; as stated above either a block or a crank is relatively inexpensive to ship, but a block + crank together is probably over the weight limit and would likely have to go freight, so bare that in mind.
