Congrats now take time and restore it piece by piece. If you finish it in 10 years it will be worth a lot.

Yep, it will be my daughter's college fund emergency backup plan if things go belly up. LOL I'll spend a fortune building it and then get my money back in the end.

Howell people don't apparently drive imports. I'll try to get back over and take an inventory. What are you looking for?
Not looking for anything in particular. I just want to explore a junkyard that looks cooler than Parts Galore in Detroit!

Maybe find some cool souvenirs.

Well come on up already! I'll be here until May before I move to Canton. Maybe we can look around and do lunch.

nice work jr10cross!

If that thing was sitting on my property, I would't be able to help myself from wanting to make it driveable. But that is like a 10 year project. Which is awesome in some ways. Congrats and good luck.

Sure! I'll shoot you a PM sometime. I've got some exams to take care of this week, but I'll let you know.

Very nice! If you ever want to get it off your hands, I'm more than willing to pay you double what you paid for it!

Should be a fun project, keep us posted on how it goes!

besides the fact that the guys on the 911 forum are sayin' this is a 912.
even Ruby was a cost-challenged project, and that shell is perfect.

yep there is a lot of dough involved. sharing everything with the 911 makes parts way more expensive. If I could do it, it would be an awesome exercise.

Sell it and run, don't get involved in restoring it, it will cost you more than you ever will know!

Take Lart's philosphy, make $$$ of someone else's dreams. He has been doing it for years and has probably made a kings ransom off it.

I can't believe Ruby is still floating around without a drive train.

But in the current market (and I don't see it changing anytime soon) I'll have to agree. Unless you happened to be sitting on a bunch of 911 parts just looking for a home to live in, putting this back together might be a huge uphill challenge.

Course you could also take your time, pick up pieces here and there, and in 10 years it could be worth a decent pile.
