Of Mice and Engines or Are you a Mouse or a
Still learning the ins and outs of the 951 that I purchased about a month ago. I was detailing the engine bay when I discovered some fluffy stuff that looked to be straw or some type of organic stuff. Figured it was just some leaves or something that found its way into the engine bay. Well as it turns out it was a little field mouse nest complete with a few dead baby mice!
Amazing that that did not show up on the PIP considering the exhaust manifold was replaced as part of that effort. But then it was pretty well hidden under the intake runners and down away from prying eyes.
CHecked the immediate area and no damage to wires or hoses. Poor little mice did not have a chance once the car was run for a few minutes.

Sometimes on 924s, the mice start living in the intake passage. When the car is started, the get shot into the engine. Doesn't do the engine or the mouse any good.
