ahh.. those december doldrums... the time of the year you long to drive your baby, but instead youre forced to fix and discover more problems with our cars.

what will i be doing?

taking the car to a body man, to cut out and replace the front pan
do an alignment (front suspenion bolts to front pan, so this will be a must)
put in new shifter bushings
replace short shift kit with original shifter
replace bumper update kit with original rear bumper
replace updated mirrors with period correct bullet mirrors
refinish the interior completely
oh i forgot, sand down the floor to get rid of surface rust that just started to form, and coat with por 15.

Only you Dan P

Randy, one day I have to try that instead of running a poor 28 off in the slalom course! We all have dry suits and hot water
showers in our boats.

Keep em coming.

lets see...something like:
Vitesse Stg 1, turbo may come early next year
SFR 3" exhaust
Install Harnesses for new Redline rollbar
hopefully some M030 sways

still trying to decide on a suspension setup...

gotta do as much as possible while not paying rent, once that starts upgrades will occur at a much slower pace!

OK, Here's my list. If I can include Fall in Ohio as being winter in Florida:

1. Paint and install my 951 repro nose.
2. Finish fabbing my brake cooling ducts for the spoiler to replace the fog lights.
3. Finish my RS door panel project and install (all parts are sitting in my garage waiting for my attention).
4. Install my SSI balljoint kit as a preventative measure (I'll be having a balljoint party here with 944Pete as I recently purchased a big-azz vice to do the work on our cars).
5. Install the KLA rear coilovers (that may even happen before fall if I can get to the bank tomorrow to get a money order for Scott for the balance I owe..............they need to take personal checks or credit cards if they grow larger someday...but I understand the hassle of chasing down bad funds).

AND, the BIG one:

6. Track down a complete, wrecked, 951 and start the process of doing a swpa and parting out the rest of the hunk.

I think that the final paint job will have to wait until next winter.

If he ends up still wanting it, and I can get around to it, I'll be making a carbon fiber vented headlight cover for Sam to replace his badly-fitting fiberglass one. He seemed to have enthusiasm at the idea, so I might actually do it...
<_< .....

Probably finish the 944/951, get it running an tune it a bit. Look into track mods, this car may be race only for a year or two.
Finish my 8HP Briggs turbo project and get a mower to put it on.
Sell my T-bird and buy an old truck for daily, trailering the 944 and hauling the mower
Oh, yeah, need to save a little for a car trailer too.

So, all in all, if this winter treats me well, I'll be trailering my 944 and turbo mower to the 944Fest for some hella good fun!

Well, i'll see how many Km's i can rack up driving to Austria with the ski's in the back. Ski season starts here in..... 5 weeks!!! Between trips I plan on doing a little maintainence though.

1. Rear main seal, need a new one.
2. Once and for all track down the grrrrr noise from the rear end
3. Paint my old/new nose and fender and door
4. Clean the engine like nobody's business
5. Sell the car in the spring and move back to the US
