I think the last few winters wore me out.. but there's always something to do.

-Make hundreds of LED Reflectors for you guys
-Pull pan/motor to fix rear main seal leak (sonofabitch)
-Fix dash cracks or replace dash entirely
-Pull intake and replace ICV, replace the high side line for the AC (oh fun) and repair the evaporator
-Refinish my PD's white
-Wetsand and glaze splitter, nosepanel, and rear bumper

That's just plain bad luck. Sorry to hear it Brian. No arguing that is a dirty job!

Let me see...I have a leak too but at the other end of the crankshaft. pretty sure it was 'cause I didn't change the sleeve.

Just finished installing the Lindsey Racing wastegate and AVC-R so I will be pulling the intake to remove the redundant vacuum lines.

I also plan on replacing all the vacuum lines with pretty blue ones I picked up from MySwiss.

Probably paint and body ($$$$$$$$).

Thinking about a Guru Map kit or a Lindsey MAF (more $$$$$$$).

I'll be doing rod bearings as a precautionary measure most likely.

I will be driving the car when there's not too much salt on the ground.

Dont have anything really planned for this winter, but for next winter i plan on purchasing a 951, in particular a '88 Turbo S. I know its a longshot, but i think i can pull it off. Purchase one that needs maybe a little work towards th end of the summer, store it at my dads shop and just do anything that needs work over the winter.

Hey, when you say rain every day in the summer, you mean how it rains for about 30 minutes at around 4:30 and then clears up and gets perfectly sunny again, right? Wanna trade? I'll live down there and you can move up here...

David Floyd, yes just a spare to have. You never know,,I could have problems down the road, maybe track car project with a couple of buddies, or some rennlister might be in dire straits. I picked it up right, just had the crank polished,,it will just be a bare bones long block. The head is being slightly shaved to offer up 8.1:1 compression. Even though Porsche says 8.0:1, I think we all know they are on the safe side at 7.9:1. My main bearings, lower crankcase gasket set, rod bearings, rod nuts, rings, seal kit, Loctite 574, and WF gasket set should be here next Tuesday.

Winter???!!!#@&*@!. What do you mean WINTER? Well lets see. For the first day of winter I'll probably put shorts on and wash the car. If winter last much past that maybe I'll replace the brake pads. WINTER.

I have actually been trying to do some work on the 84 but I cant get around the damn rain. By the time I get everything done in the morning and free up some time to work on my own stuff , there comes the rain. From 1pm until it gets dark. Yesterday was not so bad but for the last 3 weeks... it just won't let up.
