No, mine are not like that. If they were, it would mean they are collapsed. All struts when uncompressed should go back to full rebound. If the struts are not fully open, it means they are either collapsed or have lost some oil.
I would check to make sure what happens when you compress them. They should rebound back to full length.

It's mentioned in their catalog that they use the Koni's for the SS kit, so I assumed they used the same in all the kits but I wasn't 100% sure. Thank you though for the clarification

Rob, I know you run Bilsteins on your 944. Do you think H&R put this coilover kit together to compete with the Escort Cup package?
Do you have any idea if this H&R RSS setup is aimed/valved more for the street or the track?
