Default FS: 1986 944 Turbo Zermatt Silver

I have a 1986 Posche 944 Turbo that I wish to sell or possibly trade. Car has a lot of maintenance done roughly 5K in the past 4yrs. This car also has a good amount of modifications done for more power, it's not perfect and needs minor things but passes yearly inspection and I drive it daily. Miles are currently 195k range but i drive it everyday and a few long 600 mile round trips.

Any particular reason why there is no brake booster heat shield?

Just keep in mind that the turbo generates a LOT of heat. It will affect the life of those components. It would probably be best to sell the car with one in place.

By no means am I telling you what you have to do, but if the buyer doesn't and something with the brakes fails, it could be pretty ugly.

Good luck with your sale/trade. Saw your craigslist add. An old Mustang would be badass!

Darwin I respect and trust your input, you've worked with these cars longer and more in detail so if you have a suggestion I'm going to listen. I would love to get an old mustang and that's the hope but I know my wife has a different idea lol but we'll see whats happens. It would be cheaper than the 951 and there's a lot of venders for that old car. I like driving something more unique so I feel like it would be a good fit and having no sensors and very little wiring is very promising.

you mention trade, what would you consider?

offered: 1992 Dodge Steath Turbo(mitsu 3000gt vr4 sister). AWD, 300+hp, has no cat in exhaust, however a custom bolt in cat is with the car. as is another set of stock rims, and optional rim set from a mustang(not factory mustang, 255/17 front, 275/17 rear). upgraded front and rear brakes. does need paint and possibly a tune up, i'm in the midst of ordering parts for that. new tires(april 2013, same time as front brakes.) i'm huge into the 3/S community, I just miss my 944. i'm up for a car that can be a lil project as I go. just over 123k on the stealth.

my car is probably worth more than the 4k you're asking for your 951, but eh.

if a deal was reached, could you provide a list of places any aftermarket pieces come from(as I would you) so if replacement is needed I can get the right part
