Default Supercharging 2.7 liter

Hey folks, I know this has been done many times and tons of information is out there on this subject, but im looking to know a little more as far as what will work to tune a supercharged 2.7 liter 944. The car in question is an 84 track rat, stripped of all interior and with an 89 2.7 liter dropped in. I have been considering for some time now stuffing an ls1 into it and calling it a day, but as my turbocharged 944S project morphs along, I am starting to see a cheap path to more power in the guise of supercharging the 84. I will be using the stock 36# injectors out of my 951, the stock 951 fuel pump, a 3 bar fpr, and possibly the stock intercooler or no intercooler at all; boost will likely be limited to 6-7 psi and if I manage to make 200 to the wheels, I would consider that a victory. I would like to use an M62 supercharger for packaging reasons if I can locate one for cheap, but the larger M90 will work. My car does not have AC, and I will rework the alternator bracket to mount the blower. I will be attempting to use the stock intake and TB if possible. My question is regarding tuning this thing once its together. Should i pony up and MAF the car, or is there another, if slightly cheaper and less elegant way to achieve a good tune? Possibly a way that will allow me to use the stock AFM? If I should want to go MAF, would it be advisable ( or possible even ) to use a 951 DME and tune it like I would tune a 951? Would a 951 DME be plug and play? Thanks!

I will be doing this in coming weeks as well. Been working on it for a while just gathering parts slowly. Will look like this when done (I am using these exact parts)

I have not mocked it up yet, any reason you were forced to use that intake? I am planning this to be effective and reliable, but low cost as possible, and using as much stock stuff on the car as possible is one of my goals. Oh, and I should also mention that my car has no power steering or windshield washer.
