Thumbs up Started 968 V8 Mock Up - Header Pictures!

Installed a foam LS1 Mock up block today to test fit my new stainless long tube headers. They fit the 968 like a glove and are beautiful!

I would be out of talent and patience long before I could produce anything like these headers. They are available from a well known supplier of stainless long tube headers. PM me if you would like details on how to purchase.

Do the guys in the weight savings thread know that you're using a foam engine block? I'm sure they would be all over this.

My wife didn't understand how the car was going to "run" with the foam block either!

Hey, I figured out the ignore list! Boy, that was a long time coming.

So does the foam block let you bolt things to it? How much does it weigh, and where do you get one?

When you find a user consistently annoying, you can hide his posts and avatar. No matter how long, frequent or monothematic his posts, they'll each be reduced to a single line in the thread, making them easy to skip.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Just tried it and works great. Thanks for the tip!

Steering shaft clearance is very good. The bends are perfectly executed.
The foam blocks have nutserts to bolt on just about anything. I bolted the block into the car then the headers to the heads and slipped the combination into place. Not the way for final assembly but very quick. The block weighs next to nothing. I think shipping weight from Summit Racing was 10 lbs?
