Can I see Delrin in that bottom mount or are they all rubber or some sort of poly? Also interested in what spring rate you can use without going spherical in there.

I've been happy with coolers (oil and two intercoolers) from CXracing on ebay. The oil coolers are 1/2 the cost of the name brands.

In all honesty, I do not know if it's Delrin or poly. It was installed when I recieved them. I run 500lb springs in the rear.

i would change those bottom mounts- the factory bolts do not have the shear strength to hold the car up and will eventually break off. Seen it before.I ran Racer's Edge mounts for a few years.

I am running the factory bolt at the recommendation of Karl at RE. He spec'd my set-up, and I asked about the lower bolt. He said that because I wasn't going with spherical joints, that the stock bolt is fine.

Can only use the factory bolt when running the stock type rubber bushing shock mounts, like bilstein and the older koni shocks.

And I would not agree that the factory grade 10.9 14mm bolt is weaker than the 1/2" (12.7mm) aftermarket adapters.

Mine has rubber bushings top and bottom in my 944Cup/GTS1 car. So far so good. The monoball setup went in to a widebody turbo race car GTS4 or 5. It had 28mm torsion bars before the conversion.

Nice looking car John. What wheels are on that? Early offset?

I think they were speedlines, but I didn't get them with the car. I now have 17" BBS 3 piece with mag centers. 275s in front and 315s in the rear. Its a widebody 88 Turbo S, so its late offset.
