Alpine White Color Code Decal Picture?
Does anyone still have a legible Alpine White color code decal left on their car? I'm looking to get a replica made for mine but have nothing left of the original to go by in order to know whats on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh wow so close to being complete! That's the first I have ever seen of one at all. Can you tell if it has a black border around the edge of the decal or is it silver foil everywhere minus the wording?

just appears to be black lettering on a silver foil background. No border on it. Seems like I saw a site somewhere that had all the paint codes. Is it not that easy? Or are you replicating one?

Okay. My 89 is in tact. My 88 (the white one) does not have one. But, the area there is not like the 89. The area has had seam sealer brushed over it. That makes me wonder if they all came with them. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. It definately looks as if there was never anything there, nor intended to be. The picture almost looks as if the sticker were scraped away. The seam sealer is not perpindicular to the firewall the same way the sticker is on the 89, though it does kind of look that way. I'm not certain, but I know Colin knows these cars better than I do.
Anyway, the 89 (Glacier) is not legible, but you can actually see in person that there was writing on it. It is notably different than the one posted above, in that there is a black border (note the 928 part number!), and the paint CODE is listed on top, rather than the name of the paint.
968 (red) is the same as the 89.

Wish I could help you, I've still got my Sienna Red "cienarot" sticker on mine, which is crazy cause mine was one of the more neglected 944's in this universe...

Just got mine replicated last week since they're NLA.Getting some more done for the 968s crowd if everything goes good & has plan will move here and explain the details & cost.BTW this repro is a little thicker then the OEM real sticky & don't crease easily.
