Default feeler: What do you guys think? (924 carrera gt kit)

It's mid august and I blown the head gasket of my 951. but while I would be in there fixing, I also need to change my rod bearing, power steering rack, oil pan gasket and on and on and on. I was thinking doing that next winter, as be just bought a house with : a garage. We are only moving in november.

So now I'm there, with no sport car, no fun. And I still have August, September, October, November and mid December (4 1/2 months) that I could enjoy driving a P.

I found this, what do you guys think. I could sell it back next spring, keep the euro bumper and hood for my 951 (exchange). The guy said it only need some new sway bar links and its good to go. I would never pay the price hes asking.

Eric that looks like a sweet car !!! Very unique. I always liked the GTR look but that engine is just scary ! That's the Audi engine if I'm not mistaken.

Let me know if you plan to go see it, I'd like to take a look just for fun

exactly: a toy
looks fun to drive... no?

It would grow up my ''past 924/944'' collection:
1. Porsche 924S 1987
2. Porsche 944 1994
3. Porsche 944 turbo 1986
4. Porsche 924 1977

: ) I would have to add a 968 in there one day

my wife is screaming at me to not go see it : ) but at the same time, she can't stand me being miserable without a toy in the driveway.

I might go see tomorrow afternoon. The guy looks very negotiable.

Eric, I think you should buy this and swap the 951 drive train, interior and running gear into it and then sell it to me! A 951-powered Euro 931 is basically my dream car.

I'm not wild about the aftermarket sunroof, though...

Eric, considering you hate the paint on your 951 I think charlie is definitely on to something here.

Would my engine fit in there? I don't if its the same engine compartment size.
But the car would be much lighter at the end I think.

All 924/944/968 series cars used the same basic chassis... so yes your 951 engine will fit just fine. That particular car was owned by a member at 924.org and he did get some guff for having the ultimate sheep in wolf's clothing. I think the idea of swapping in the 951 driveline is fantastic, you should do it.
