Default Wanted - 924 parts

Believe it or not, I'm looking for a 924 rear bumper - red would be preferred so it wouldn't need painting, but obviously I could paint any color.

I also need a 924 turbo intercooler. Anyone have a parts car that has one? Or, anyone have a 924 turbo where they've done some other clever intercooler configuration?

Ill be parting my 924s pretty soon, dunno what shipping to ny on it would be though. It would need a repaint but it is red. Amazingly the girl that rear ended me managed to completely miss the bumper (she went straight over the top).

this is odd. last night after thinking a moment about your 914, i pondered the idea of suggesting you might consider adding a 924 at some point. but with my sordid history with that car here on the forums, i concluded better jiust to remain silent.

It's actually for a friend's car which is "visiting" until it's drivable again...

Alright, let me be more specific... a 924 Carrera GT intercooler (other some other intercooler option):

the positioning of the 931's turbo lends itself to a FMIC with creative plumbing.

where the factory put the CGT intercooler is, well, silly.

that said, i have a water-type intercooler off a jaguar that just might fit in place of that CGT intercooler above the motor. i found some dimensions for the 924 cgt intercooler; apparently the core is about 12x8x2 (according to http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.ph...42d76806152de8) and the unit overall (excluding the inlet snorkel) is about 5 inches high and 15 wide (counting endtanks) my jag unit is about 14x8x5 with only one endtank. i think you could use the jag 'inlet' as the 931 'outlet' and then make a tank similar to the cgt for the other side. flow direction doesn't matter on this unit.

see here
https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...guar-awic.html

if you're interested, i'd let it go pretty cheap, and have some setrab coolers you could use as auxiliary radiators that i could toss in.

look up Holbert mod or intercooler. also consider meth injection. it takes up a lot less space...

Van,
There was a white 924 NA in the boneyard today. I don't recall how much they want for a bumper though. I'll call them tomorrow and see how much it is, but shipping would be a beast for something that big cross-country. Let me know if you want to go ahead with this. Also, let me know if you need any other parts.
