19mm and 3/4 are so close that you can interchange without worries of stripping or other issues.

Stick with OEM Boge/Sachs if you are not going with a front spring rate above 250. In my experience KYB & Monroe are far inferior to Boge/Sachs. If you go higher than 250 you should be looking at Koni or Bilstein as suggested.

I got 200# springs. KYB will be fine, at $30 each. Not gonna spend the money for oem, sorry oem freaks. And I proudly use üro parts too

Just spent $150 on weltmeister poly graphite control arm bushings (they're red so it'll go faster), kyb #363014 struts, and ball joints.

Yes Boge/Sachs inserts # 115-153-M10 which are the OEM that came on your car.Ran them on my 83 944 for years with great success,car was lower 1 1/4" front 3/4" rear (Boge HD rear).Don't forget to add the rigth brake pads for your driving style I use to run PBR deluxe which has good grip/produce minimum dust & are an all around affordable pads & if money permit SS brakes lines frt/rear.Now before someone jump in with a bunch of negative comments about the combo I just mention the car wasn't track but street driven only. With some very hard spirit drives on both straigth & twisties roads & never once did I feel unsafe even reaching speed over 130 MPH .Btw new buschings all around is a must,no use installing all those fancy adjustable parts if the bushings are rotten & falling apart,replacing them with new OEM rubber one they will do just fine on your car. Have fun ----- Monroes on a 944??

Lol well I guess it's to late for my down to earth advices he's already spend $150.00 on some red shinny poly graphite bushings instead of the rigth strut inserts lol

I'm going to assume you didn't read my last post? the deed has been done so it is what it is. And my dad won't be around this week, meaning there's some things I can't do cause I need him to help, like taking apart my springs.. So the car will likely be in the garage two weeks and I can't drive it the day of the sadies dance this saturday

FWIW I cracked a 3/4" socket trying to take the strut off the spindle. I said eff it and took it off at the ball joint and took the caliper off.
