You guys should take pride in your cars. A nice car through personal effort is a testament to character. The next testament to character is the fortitude to not drive like crazy. And trust me, I've been there and wrecked that. Learned my lessons but not tooooo far past that stage I'd like to believe!

And I concur that the burgundy red (whatever color it is please post!) on white fuchs is great. Nice look 83 944!

Thanks guys! I painted it my self in my garage! In January of this year. And it's called Arena red Metallica of a Porsche 993 turbo =)

Yeah after doing suspension and reindexing the torsion bars. And painted the chrome 944 turbo Fuchs I had made a huge look difference and a style I don't see around. With the side skirts rear slotted euro valnce and the spoiler. I do all the work my self my car hasn't seen a shop yet. And I've pulled that motor over 10 times and had 3 motors and rebuilt 2 of them. On my 3rd. I'm building 944 turbo engine to drop in. But yada yada. Keep up the work guys do it yourself gain the knowledge and show what you have done. Take pride in your car because it does build character in your car and your self and when people ask where you went to do what you have done you say it with your chest. At my house! Ha

Thanks again guys and more pics of your guyes car I like saving them to my iPhone =)!!!

Mike

Added you on facebook... Would copy your cars color but gotta do sienna eventually. I've been searching for a euro valance, some day I'll find one. Where did you get the side skirts? I like the look. And in that one picture, your headlights are slightly opened?

What do you think of sienna red, gold phone dials, and a gold drivers side racing stripe?

IMHO no stripped but gold or copper phonies would look good. Your paint looks good now. Just have to get the front valnce painted haha.

For the side skirts and rear valance I bought my car with them. As shown in the original pics if you saw them. Fortunately the guy before me raced the car and wanted those ground effects. Unfortunately he raced it! Hint the new motor. He slung a rod haha. And he left me his chipped DME by autothority and AFM. Early cars is hard to come by with a re tuned DME. And mine is well over 15 years old haha

Default Update, Pics

Finally got home from Albuquerque yesterday... I have a great, or I should say terrible, story about that trip, haha. Will explain if you want.

But first, I uploaded my good pics! They bring out the good and the bad in the car.

Yes, all those oil stains are mine:

Painted the shifting diagram

Are the photos too big?

I'm loving the seats you have in there, do you know what brand/model they are?

Slap some guards red on that front valence and you'll have an awesome car

You know I've never been able to figure out the seats I have, got them from a craigslist ad. Will post more pics/ look for info. I know they are entry level, somewhat cheap seats...
