These are as close as I could find... They are JC Whitney poser seats.

really cool pics man! i dig the phone dials. your bother's 3000GT, is that an SL? i once read taht the early SHO's Yamaha V6 engine could safely rev to a 8000rpm redline.. suffice it to say that the article stated that its fuel cut was set much shorter to protect the accessories.

My FRIENDS 3000gt is just base model automatic, my BROTHERS sho, haha yeah he's real proud of it, SHO has quite a cult following, like us and our 944s.. they can rev at 8k all day long. I gotta post a video sometime, it's of the cash for clunkers guys trying to break a sho and they can't get the motor to blow no matter what! Thanks for the compliments, I'll be waxing her this weekend for the car show

I had an '89 SHO; what a car. I put almost 170k on it and at the end the leather was shot, the A/C didn't work, the climate control was done, the automatic headlights weren't, it had gouts of typical Taurus rust and it was on its fourth clutch.

But that motor still pulled!

Every time I see a low-mileage SHO come up on eBay, I'm very tempted...

Paint your air dam! I orginally saw your avatar and I thought it was a retro tutone paint job. Mask off the car, and buy some single stage guards red. An easy afternoon job! Even a rattle can single stage will look better and will protect that bodywork. Primer alone won't.

The valance is a work in progress- I had repaired a crack in it as seen earlier in the thread and on my photobucket. Hadn't gotten around to painting it, and a couple days ago I scraped it on a driveway- screwing up my whole repair, dammit!!! Now I have to fix it all over again, then maybe it'll be ready for paint. >

"The Porsche 924/944 Book" by Peter Morgan (1990 ed.) came in the mail yesterday... Finally scored some Porsche literature on ebay, after fighting and losing to somebody after the "Original Porsche: 924/44/68" book that went well over $60.

Checking out my spare tire area the other day, it was quite dirty down there...

While down there, I noticed that the ground for the license plate bracket light (relocated for "944" panel) was drilled with a sheet metal screw right into the spare tire well!

Did, however, find the 30 year old spare tire info sticker, in perfect condition, along with perfect but dirty never-seen-sunlight original paint

Dug up an old picture of the car from around a year ago, after we got it running but before the paint-buffing, wheel-changing, and valance replacement.
