Installation is quite easy:
Remove AFM, bolt MAF pipe to airbox, plug in the wiring. Run one wire for switched +12volt. Install chip, and drive away.
I just got the 2.5" exhaust on, and cat delete finished today.
Logging MAF voltage, the exhaust & !cat makes more power after 4000rpm. From increased airflow, it looks like this made a 5-6% increase in peak power, with gains everywhere after 4000rpm. This translates into 6-8rwhp increase
As a reminder, the exhaust was a stock 951 cat-back.
So, now with the NA-Tune (N-Tune sounds too close to M-Tune), and this exhaust I expect that I'm ~14% more power than stock - a 15-17rwhp increase.
As I mentioned, I still have a couple more things to do, also very budget:
The first is a simple drop-in K&N air filter. I've been running on a not-new paper filter, so even if the K&N doesn't make any more power, just having a re-usable filter makes sense to me.
Second thing is an offset camshaft key from 928motorsports. Using this, I will retard cam-timing slightly, which helps carry hp&tq into the higher RPMs. Yes, some lower-rpm power will be sacrificed, but with how much stronger the low-end is with the MAF, I'm not worrying about it.
Offsetting the camshaft I expect to make at least another 5rwhp at peak, maybe closer to 10rwhp depending on how much of an offset I settle with...
At this point I expect the car to be making 20-25rwhp more then when I started (stock car). And this is still on the early camshaft - a late cam should bring a little more power yet. Additionally, along that thought, I will be trying out a camshaft re-ground to my specs... As usual, I will quantify the gains.

Awesome! With these ~14% gains I should be making 180.12hp (probably more in the 170's since my engine has most likely lost a few ponies over time) with my 88 NA This is definitely going to be on the top of my Christmas list

Crank-HP, yeah that makes sense... At the wheels though you have to account for drivetrain losses.
Like I mentioned, I'm not done yet - the next couple of things, I think will push that % number up to 20-25%

Ha - yeah it does sound pretty decent, though a bit of raspyness at certain rpms because of the cat delete... no worry, I've got a 28" resonator coming in, which should take care of that
Also, the backfire was because I hit the rev-limiter... nothing to worry about, just a bit of "hot-rodding".

As with all my Tunes, it does require a 28pin DME.
I'm updating the website now, and will be taking orders this week.

Wow, this is awesome. Finally NA owners have an off-the-shelf option to get that little bit more power! Really looking forward to seeing the gains with cam etc as well.
Not sure if this has been answered, but any data on Euro spec cars?
