My car in Auto Expo 2011!
just happened to have a buddy thats in the SCCA who mentioned they needed some track cars for their booth down at the convention center Auto Expo. I figured i needed an excuse to make the car all clean and shiney so i detailed her up and dropped it off tonite. Now what am i going to do w/ this garage space for the rest of the week.

i dont want to scare you... but i work for a VW dealer and when our cars come back from the autoshows, they are scratched, and missing trim peices.
Will they cover any damages?
(but that is pretty sweet they picked your car)

A lot of our cars at the dealership I work for, Mitsu, Subaru, Volkswagen go to autoshows, malls, etc and come back fine.
We have a 2011 Touareg at Tysons Corner mall that has been there for a month and other than finger prints on the windows theyre fine.

its sitting around the corner from a $192,000 Mercedes AMG something or other, some Maseratis and Audis. Hopefully those get the brunt of the damage.

Looks nice! I agree with others of being fearful of damage, especially with the hood up, but maybe the folks in your area will suprise us!

Car looks great!! I also work in dealers and most of the damage we find is when people/kids are allowed to climb in and out of cars. ie new cars. I have shown many of my own cars through the years and about the worst I get are belt buckle scratches on the fenders. If the hood is closed when you are not around it, that would not even come in to play.
