Exclamation FS:1986 Porsche 944(N/A)-$1300*UPDATED with pics*

My car is up for sale again, this time it has to go. I'm moving to San Diego sometime during this summer and won't be able to bring this car there during the move. So, sadly I have to sell it. All the info is up to date.

-180xxx Miles(Engine runs strong/starts up every time)
-Manual Transmission(Shifts smooth through all gears)
-Gaurds Red(Paint in pretty decent condition)
-Clean Title in hand(Current Non-Op)
-Smogged 6/09/11(Won't need to smog upon transfer)

Cons/Issues:
-Quarter Panel(Psgr Side) needs to be completely replaced. Another driver hit the car while parked. A local shop I took the car to told me that there is no structural damage and all it needs is a new panel.

-Rear glass needs to be resealed(starting to separate from the frame at the top).

-Psngr window motor needs replacing(all window internals come with car and will need to be reinstalled once motor is replaced).

-Rear seats are removed.

-Front(Psngr Side) Strut replacement.

-Coolant hose needs replacement.

-Headlight wiring harness needs to be installed.(Comes with car)

-Rear CV axle(Dvr Side) needs to get replaced, the boot is bad.(Good condition used axle comes with car)

-Psngr Side seat needs a new bracket.

-Stereo not installed.(Original deck comes with car)

Those are all the things that I find important left to do to the car to make it a completely reliable DD, or you could ignore half that list by turning it into a track car(which was my plan). The car is in running and drivable condition(I would recommend towing though). The engine is completely amazing and has never failed me once(starts up every time, even in the cold). If I notice anything else I will most definitely update this further. I would much rather sell this car as is, than deal with parting it out. I will only accept cash and I'm willing to show the car any time. Serious Inquiries only please. This car is for sale as is for $1500, or best offer. You can text/call me any time at 916-753-8718. Come check it out(Test drives only with cash in hand). Thanks for your interest.

I'm currently in school
I'm not working or in school.

Gotta love the CA school system, the entire ad sounds like a sixth grader had his older brother/sister wright it.

Buyer be ware.

Hope your sale goes well borther but IMHO you might wana bled the brakes, change the cv boot and do the headlight harness. That shouldn't cost you really anything but time and would make the sale go a lot easier. Just trying to help you out.

ibkevin, that is a huge skewing of quotes! This is what the media does! V2 got it right.

Besides, it is "buyer beware", and "write."

Ibkevin, you show the ignorance of a lot of the people that live down here in California. It's definately a place for you. And please learn how to read and spell, that would help before you tried to insult my gramatical skills.

Cyclone, I honestly have no time to do any of that stuff. While I'm not in school I'm at work until midnight, so I really have no time. I'm probably going to have to leave some classes early just to show the car.

Easy guys... it's a $1500 car... Not much to "be ware" of. We are friends here on the list, this sort of stuff just makes me cringe. Happens way too much lately.

Just so it's clear, it sounds as though he's willing to show the car WHEN he's not in school... meaning anytime he doesn't have prior obligations he'd be happy to show it.

Good luck with the sale.

I read it as "I'll show you the car if I'm not working or in school at the time"...not sure why anyone would get it any other way?

Post pictures because I'm sure that will help with the sale. Also, post it on craigslist as well. Get more exposure. Perhaps eBay as well, you can probably get close to a grand on eBay.

You sound like your very busy between school nd work. Luckily, I only have school to worry about. But take the time to create a good ad with pictures instead of doing half the work. You'll get half the results. Don't have time to make an ad or to fix those small problems? Then you have to make time. GLWS.

ibkevin, that is a huge skewing of quotes!
It's verbaitum, this just demonstrates how important written communication is and how it's become neglected. And quit blaming "media"... as tech savy as people think they are, they are getting lazy.

Agreed. Poorly maintained car and owner neglect are written all over this sale.

Nope, and her impending sale is what got me looking at this thread.
