There are plenty of loaner helmets to be found.

I'll put a clutch in this if somebody wants to go pick it up.. (and tell the guy why it's only worth half of his price)..It would make a good rental/giveaway/tech project. The ripped up sport seats gotta be worth SOMETHING!

While we are on the topic, If someone were CRAZY enough to loan/rent out a great running NA for a rallycross, (grass/mud autocross) I think a considerably lower rev limiter would be in order. Does such a fix exist for the 944 series?

It's like Octoberfest, but in June, with cars at a race track.. in Ohio!

It's like beer fest, but with cars

It's like the 944 fest, only... wait...

It's like beer.. cars.. racing... camping... people drawing obscene things on a car that is then given away.. and this year, a sanctioned rally cross thrown in for good measure!

Wise man once say, "It is duty of every 944 owner to make pilgrimage to Nelsons ledges at least once in his ownership!" I'm sure I'm going to hell for that one.. but at least it will be only some other religions version of hell!

It's not that we dont know who he is... It's just that we choose to have fun with the responses!

What are the chances a lowered, up powered, Bilstein cup suspensioned 951 will fare well on the rally cross circuit? I think it would be far more interesting on the rally circuit than the track, but I could be wrong!

Yes, if you find dragging your undercarriage and spinning out interesting! Run your car on the track, JoKA. With those spring rates and that power, it would be a shame not to see what it would do on a track!

I don't really see where everyone thinks that the rally cross is going to be some sort of hill jumping, mud slinging, car rolling event. The SCCA dictates that the course must be flat anyway but beyond that, ours will be modified even further specifically with the 944 chassis in mind. If your car can run on the track at nelson ledges... you won't have any issues.
Just picture it as an autoX on the grass.

As tame as the course may be, these cars simply werent meant to go off road. You also have to consider "low spots" in the course that can do just as much damage as a small hill. My front end is still damaged from an infield excursion from my first fest at mid ohio when I didnt notice a hole that my right front wheel sunk into.
