Just picked up a 1983 Porsche 944 NA.
It is running perfectly and seems in decent shape.
Except that the interior needs a lot of work.
The day I got it home. Gave it a quick wash.

I immediately ripped out the carpet and underlay because of the smell.

These are my plans:
- spray all of the floor pan, trunk, etc with spray on asphalt coating
- new CCF insulation anywhere I can
- new carpet
- new seats
- new ignition...the key is cracked off in it right now
- paint the console, door panels, rear quarter panels if I can't find replacements
- fix fog lights
- fix all interior bulbs
- install stereo and speakers (none in the car right now)
That's my initial short list.
So...I'm looking for some parts!!!
Thanks

Welcome fellow Canadian.
Nice car!
Hard to tell but it looks like there is some rust on the floor. if that is the case why not paint on something that will arrest the rust like POR-15. I used it to cover a small rust spot at the back of my wheel well and it was easy supposed to stop the rust. If you are interested you can google it and there is a canadian location around montreal.
Good luck and keep us posted.

new gas pedal bracket ( old one rusted ) new gas pedal
applied hush mat throughout ( the thin rubberized stuff with foil backing .)
applied acoustical mat throughout where required, mostly center section under console, this stuff is a little thicker about 1/2 inch.

recovered seats , from 944 online 800 bucks but awesome.
new trim bits here and there
