944 n/a supercharger set up help!

As for the BTM and rising-rate FPR setup that I am using... I understand it's not the best route, its definitely a more primitive way of adjusting your timing and fuel pressure... however this entire setup came off a friend of mine's 944 (running all the same exact parts) and he was running the same supercharger / BTM / FPR / etc. for nearly 3 years. Dyno tuned at 220hp and 240tq at 10psi. He then ran the same pulley setup I am using for 13psi and never got the chance to dyno the car before disassembling to sell me a lot of his setup. It's barbaric but it works... At least when tuned properly!
Belt goes from the crank, to idler pulley (for tension adustment) then to blower, then to alternator, then back to crank. Works perfect!
The headlight motor and rod linkage have all been removed. The headlights are fixed upwards for now. Eventually I plan on making my own stationary headlight buckets with the clear lenses, however I need to rebuild the motor first... priority!
And yes, the alternator was moved down a bit to make room. The a/c compressor was deleted, and the alternator sits generally in it's old spot, but not quite so low!

how much timing retard do you run? this is interesting to me since i am going to be running about stock timing, maybe slightly more aggressive, with 10-12psi and e85 fuel..(after the car gets put back together of course...)

i assume the 220/240 numbers were at the wheels? and was he running the IC?

And the timing is adjustable with a **** inside the car. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think it's adjustable up to 4 or 5 degrees timing.

good luck! i found mine on craigslist for $95. i got lucky. i replaced the coupler and the snout seal. the bearing seem in great shape but i think ill replace them just to be safe... if you cant find a m90, i found at the local picknpull 2 thunderbirds sc, with the superchargers still there untouched.

local junkyards sell them about 100...
an m90 is a good choice for the 2.5 since, while yes its made for a slightly larger motor, using a larger blower to achieve the same boost pressure is more efficient so more power

Miller just released a W.A.R chip for the 944 Bosch 3.1 (not 1.2, yet) that eliminates the need for an Ostrich, or any chip burning, but still gives you laptop programmability of the fuel and ignition

yeah i took a look at his site, seems like an awesome system, wish they made one for early cars, without a socketed chip

at this point i think im going to have FRWilks install the adapter board on my DME because i dont have a removable chip, then get the Eprom burner and socket booster so i can tune on my computer, and then a wideband for monitoring AFR.
i know this isnt the cheapest way of doing this but ide rather be able to monitor everything and tune via laptop!
i figure im looking at a grand for the whole set up, blower and electronics! sound resonable?
