Post SFR-SoCal PIZZA RUN Sat. 3/23

Ok, it's that 'Spring Fever' time of year again to get everyone together for a PIZZA RUN! We'll have a gathering of two groups, an L.A. group and a San Diego 968 group. Meeting is at 11am on top of Mt. Soledad park. Map to the area:
http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Pizza-MtSoledad.gif

I figure we can get the L.A. group together around 9am (location to be determined) to head down to S.D. Take the tour with the 968 group. Then head back to finish at Speedforce Racing for PIZZA, a tour of their facilities, and demos of the new supercharger kits.

John has even gratiously thrown in the following drawing prizes:
[*]one hour free dyno tuning.[*] adjustable cam sprocket (944/951)[*] set of chips (autoathority clones)[*] stainless fuel lines (all 944 models and 968)[/list=a]

If anyone has FRS radios, bring them along to chat.

Confirmed attendees:
L.A. contingent- Danno, Bill from Gilroy, Trevor (PorscheG96), John Anderson & daughter
S.D. 968 group - Keith Wong, David Vadman, Eric Sandoval, SnowBoarder

Photos and dicussions from last year's NorCal Thanksgiving Pizza Run:

Testimonials:
"Anyone who has been on a famous "Danno Pizza Run" know's not to miss this coveted event. Keep the updates comming as they unfold ..." - Bill

Woo Hoo...another pizza run!

Danno,

Since I will drive right past your home town of Santa Barbara, we should hook up there. Then caravan down to the "Suburb of Tijuana".

Pizza Run, w00t!

Hey Bill, did you call SFR and find out when you're picking up your car? If you're going this weekend I need to know ASAP so I can meet you down there, drop off my car, and get a ride back to school. Then the following weekend maybe I can bum a ride again for the Pizza Run [ ] and get my car from SFR as soon as we get down to El Cajon. E-mail me or reply to this thread, thanks!

COOLNESS!!!
I want to come. I'm about 90% certain, but have to re-scheudle something. I'll post back later.

Are most guys bringing girlfriends, etc? I may come with my son (adult) but what is the consensus?

Also, hate to sound stupid, but what's an FRS radio? You don't mean an old fashioned CB do you? As in "Put the pedal to the metal, good buddy"?
I have a portable one but haven't tried to plug it in/use it in YEARS...I wonder if it works?

P.S. Deni, You're not listed as a confirmed attendee, are you coming?

Deni,

Hope you can make it! Anyone in the Bay Area and North, we should hook up for a caravan. I would offer my house for the gathering point, It is just off the 101.

Trevor,

Spoke to John on Tuesday. He has the new software to program the KLR and he is working on my car now. He could not say how long it would take, just that he would call me when it was done. Maybe if you called him today, he would have a better idea.
