So, If I show up do I have to meet up with the 968ers in SD? I don't know if I've got a 944, or a 968 anymore. Anyway, someone give me directions from the 10. IF (notice it's a big if) I show up It'll be straight out on the 10 from Phoenix AZ to LA. Long road trip for Pizza, but it sounds like a fun getaway. I need one right about now.

If any more people want to come it should be fun.I will be at the shop getting the Pizza, etc......There will be some cool cars for you guys to check out too. We have the supercharged 8 valve car with the level four supercharger conversion. We will have the supercharged S2 cab there. There will also be two 951's that make over 400 horsepower at the wheels.

well i was thinking of driving down to la to visit my woman *this* weekend... maybe now i should try to convince her that i should wait a week so we can spend a day hanging out with a bunch of dudes who own porsches.
it would be a blast to convoy down 5 on friday night with an *** load of porsches. meeting up by gilroy would be a good idea... it's kinda on the way whether you leave from the bay area or sac or far north.

I am working up a plan for the Nor Cal contingent to meet (my house is just off the 101 in Gilroy) and caravan down. There is enough of us here in No Cal to make it a good group. Stay tuned.

Ok Guys,
I dont think that SFR should have to spring for the pizza's! SFR is gracious enough to allow us to decend on them "en mass"! So I think we should take a collection for the refreshments and treat John and Tim......Anybody?

What's the head count?
944's:
951's:
968's:
Other models?:
Well, since Danno was gracious enough to, uh, leak this event to other boards, you may have a few 928s on your list. I will include myself in the "other models" category. I've been meaning to get over to SFR. I did, actually, but nobody was there...I assumed it was the place with the dead 911 in front of the shop. Thats the new address at least.
Danno - do you mind if I post this on the SoCal928 list? You might get quite a few add ins.
This sounds like quite of bit of fun - all different cars. Hope my clutch holds out. Anybody want to bring a flatbed? At least doing my clutch is not as hard as doing a clutch on your 951s.
Is it possible I could also get a ride in one of those big 951s? I love boost.

Brendan free to post on any lists you want; the more the merrier!
Let's point all the posts to this main thread so we can track people easier. I'll tally up all the reponses and come up with a list by area and car models later this weekend.
The Nor.Cal contingent is more than welcome to crash on my couches, or camp out in my huge back yard Friday night. We might even get some downtown nightlife in.
We should figure out a location to meet in L.A. as well. Perhaps something off the 5 which we'll take to S.D.?

Hello all,
So my uncle in Fontana might let me crash there. Anyone close to Fontana? It's looking more and more like my "S3" might make it's appearance after all. Anyone willing to meet up with me or just give me some more detailed directions as to where this is going down? The 10 is about the only road I'm familiar with out west. I'm not from round those parts you know and LA is a big place. BTW, Tim an John, SFR wouldn't happen to take IOU's on the SC kit would you? Sounds like the 968 SC is still in development anyway. Hopefully I'll see you all there

Danno, I'm all for chipping in for the pizza. John and Tim shouldn't have to pay anything since we're descending on them and they're giving away door prizes too.(So cool)
A suggestion on L.A. meeting places. Dodger Stadium parking lot on a Saturday morning is deserted. Right in the heart of L.A. off the 5 Fwy at Stadium Way and up the ramp. If the gates are closed we could park right in front of the Police Academy on the north side of the stadium. Beautiful scenery for group pictures. Lots of trees lots of parking lot.
Or an alternative would be at The Spectrum in Irvine. About 30 miles further south but a big parking lot visible from the 5 Fwy, off at about Alton Parkway. Just suggestions.
