interior is pretty damn clean..the rear seats look torn in the open hatch photo. Probably 104K?

i dunno- why is it black under the hood and have red overspray on the back of the headlight buckets? Alot of wear for a 4k mile car. Prob. a replaced speedo.

Definitely been re-sprayed. Car was originally black. Bumper is pushed in on the driver's side. More than likely a paint-job due to an accident.
Cloth seats and Fuchs are not unheard of from the factory. I've seen several early cars with that combo. However it looks like the seats have been re-upholstered so lord knows if that is original spec or not.
It's gotta be at least 104K miles on that car, if not 204K.

Yeah. Definitely.
Carfax sucks *****, but even a carfax should turn up the evidence needed to dispute the 4K miles claim. Granted, its nearly worthless otherwise.

i definitely think it's been wrecked or at least in a small front end accident, the space next to the front bumper on the drivers side is way bigger than the passenger side, or at least it looks like that...possibly a tweaked frame?
other than that, it looks very clean, not 4K original miles clean, but pretty damn clean nonetheless

To be a bit fair. Unless the car had been kept in a climate controlled garage for 25+ years there is going to be material wear, fading, etc.
Just exposure to sun, water, moisture, wind etc will wear on a car even if it is never driven.
It *could* have belonged to someone that lived 0.5 miles from their only destination. Parked it outside and drove 1 mile a day every couple of days for 27 years.
Not everyone puts 30K a year on a car.

The 83 I bought for a parts car has light cloth seats. They all look great except for the top of the fold down rear seat. It looks the same as the CL car from the Ga. sun breaking down the material and it has Fuchs wheels. Really too nice to part, so I'm going to replace the engine with one I had as a spare. The 83 #2 rod punched a hole in the block.
