Guess I'm to old (41) to translate Wizards post sounds like a post from Craig ?

John, I completely understand. I own an Optical store and sometime when I special order a pair of glasses for a patient the supplier will tell me no problem it will ship today, well guess what it does not arrive as scheduled, I make a call to check on the order, yep you guessed it BACKORDERED,but I was told they were in stock and would ship that day, were sorry I don't know why you were told it would ship. So when it happens to me personaly, I tend to take it in stride. Anybody that has ever worked with the public will know these normal problems happen, nobody likes it, sometime I lose the sale, sometime not.

I will call you end of the week, is SFR working on chips for a modified car such as mine and I am really thinking about your 60-1 turbo.

Talk to you soon

David,

Finally, someone in the real world!!!

Yes we are working on chips for a highly moded engine like yours....we are now anyway...lets do something special...

I propose, SFR makes a set that will plug into your DME, lets do some timing work, some fuel work...set it up with our MAF kit...and blow the doors off your car :-)

I doubt anyone else will be able to use your chips, but lets do it anyway....its time to show off your hard spent cash. I'll be in touch, lets get you some "David Floyed Chips"...and see what happens :-)

Call me, there will be a few details to work out, mainly, burning and reburning, dyno tuning and more dyno tuning, but its very doable...

Call me ok?

Is SFR going to offer custom chips in the future? Tell me more, I am resisting purchasing an EFI system because of the problems I might have with replacement parts five year down the road.

John, I appreciate the fact that you take the time to respond to questions. Something you don’t see too often on boards…thanks.
