two nice examples of street legal Porsches running on the track... short of the hypercars like the Gumpert Apollo, Enzo etc... here's norman's incredible lap at sebring... [it was bested], nevertheless - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn_BLl47KQg
perspective: three "war of the worlds" supercar videos: http://fliiby.com/file/118012/zwt5epqwee.html,

Tony G takes them all down: a Ferrari 575, Nissan GTR, new ZR1 Corvette, several BMW "M" cars, and a poor defenseless Viper on the California Speedway Roval... see all three parts.

tony will be instaling an LS2 in my 968 after i blow up the variocam on some cross-country run or running the supercharger or whenever... otherwise i would indeed save up the money to buy it. i asked him why not just keep it, but he just loves doing new projects and spreading the good fortune around...

Hey guys... it's me... uh TonyG :-)
I'm really a nobody. Just a car freak that has too much time and money on his hands, who happens to love Porsches.
I built a 951 with a LS1 in it (www.tonygarcia.org/944V8).
The car is very fast and more importantly is setup so that pretty much anybody (with big enough nuts) could drive it competitively against the serious hardware.
It's been a project of constant evolution and development to the point where it is now.
And while there is more room for improvement, the car works pretty damn good. Plus... it's bullet-proof reliable (which makes it even better).
Theres a few videos of the car around the net. I have a ton more, but just don't have the time to edit down/compress down to get them up on youtube.
Anyway... I hate hybrid cars. I didn't want to do this car. It was not my idea. And I would have never ever done it on my own. That said, once I drove it I knew... (I knew I should have done it long long ago...).
Take care,
TonyG

For $325K
1) Build myself a Vans RV-4
2) Spend the perpetual "last" $1,000 on my car
3) Fly the RV-4 :burnout":

1. 944 turbo ~500hp full coilovers, racing cage, lightened to about 2500 lbs, nice lightweight wheels, hook up PCCB brakes, racing paintjob etc.
2. 928 GTS twin turbo 5-speed also near 500 hp, show car custom interior, fresh paint.
3. Stock '09 Cayman S
And because those three surely don't equate to $325, I'd buy a 914 in need of some love to do some wrenching on for fun.
