air oil seperator. yea the top port on the filler tube.

i wanna know about the nipple on the booster check valve also....cause mine's not connected to anything and i still get good pedal pressure. i've driven it at multiple test and tunes and track day also. So it's not something that's super critical...but I'd like to know what it's for still.

i posted a link on the last page showing where it goes. 944online has a nice diagram. all it does is help open up some valve in the heater controls
http://944online.com/cgi-bin/ASI_Sto...tecontrol-9442

also, do you run a vacuum rez? i think i actually threw mine away...

vacuum reservoir is what that little nipple hooks up to.

it helps you stop if the engine is off and you need to use the brakes.

if the engine goes off be prepared to press HARD.

ah, that makes sense. but we're in a manual car. even if ignition died or fuel died, if the car is still in gear, the engine will still make vacuum. i guess if the timing belt snaps, then u wouldn't be having vacuum.

i've had to use brake w/o engine. i'd be able to slow down...but def not STOP highway speeds. .

ok well i didnt get super far tonight because ive been sick all day... but i did get some small things done.

plugged this...

plugged this

i also plugged the port on the bottom of the J-boot but didnt get a picture.

vacuum lines are all run...

cant figure out where the heck this stuff goes.

the plug coming out of the hole is for the wiper motor i think... but i dont know where the plug for the heater blower fan goes... and im pretty sure something plugged into the top of the blower box onto that white strip with the pins but i have no idea what.

end result for the night

oh also got the brake lines run temporarily to make sure i had them all

a few more things to add to the list of junk i need/or am missing...

1: the coolant flange thing that goes on the head that has the bleeder screw in the top of it (dont know how the heck i lost that...)
2: the bolt that goes through the alternator and bracket to hold it in place... i somehow still have the adjustable strut thing though.
3: new oil pressure sender....
4: throttle cable... i have the cable for the cruise control but not the one for the throttle... wtf

id find another of those vacuum caps for the lower intake port, that hose and bolt thing will get in the way of installation and take away from your clean look
