Today i took off the aftermarket throttle response cam and put a stock one on. I have to get used to the slowness of the pedal in prep for my first autocross this weekend. It also keeps me in e-stock!

Bumper and spoiler are at the paint shop. Can pick it up Wednesday night w00t!
Since the defuser was off, I gave it a clay/swirlremover/wax job. Came out fantastic.
Short term:
get rear window re-tinted
figure out how to polish my exhuast
work in the spoiler trim pieces... going to paint that myself.

Firts off, I have to tell everyone that I am a newbie to 944s. This weekend I bought my first 944. A 1989 N/A with 53,000 miles. Its Metallic blue with a blue partial leather interior. I bought it from a friend/customer of mine. I did some leather dye touch up and wrapped the dash in blue Alcantara. In a bit I will do more Alcantara- door tops, shift boot. I know that I will catch a wrath for not posting pics, but I will take some and then post them. I have a 924 that is a BIG project that I aquired some time ago and have had 2 914s. I have to say that I REALLY like driving the 944. I bought it on saturday and then drove it 200 miles to my new home. Sweet. So back to the original post, do not want to high jack this forum, I woke up this morning to find that some one had given me a present with my new car. I was a victim of a drive by egging. Yes, "congrates on the purchase here are some nice eggs for breakfast." I got them off before the AZ sun cooked them. So thats what I did with my new 944, then drove it to work. It will be my daily driver. Did I say that it is a blast to drive? You probably allready know that.

Let's see, i was out for a nice drive across the Richmond Bridge (driving AWAY from Richmond of course) and I heard the sound of something snapping off underneath the car. Long story short, my power steering tensioner is at the bottom of the San Francisco Bay.
Tomorrow: Go to the hardware store and buy the parts to build one of my custom super reliable belt tensioners (built one for my 83', it was pretty damn good).

Thats why I want one of every Porsche. Then I can drive what Im in the mood for. Classic 356 or modded 911, or 944/951. Now I just have to figure out how to afford all of them.
