I really like the EVO 2. I'm 6'1" and I can fit nicely with my helmet. I also got the seat sliders to allow for and aft movement. Overall, I am very happy with the seat. Now on to the roll bar and finish stripping the interior bits and trim.

Best of luck Tiger. I totally wimped out of the fuel line replacement game and paid a big pile of money to have it done.

The good news though...
A car free of fuel stink is in your future :-)

Well I have to admit today was interesting..started to work some more on the rusty fuel lines, when my 19 mm wrench slipped off the fitting and fell into my clamp light, breaking the bulb with a loud pop. I'm on a creeper under the car now being showered with glass fragments. Haven't been showered with glass that close before..glad it wasn't flourescent...so, I kinda gave up on that for a while, and went to pulling the half-shafts out...this is a 1983 car and from the looks of things, they might have been replaced maybe once, but at least they cam out with out too much hassle...Tomorrow..Transaxle and TT pull and maybe the gas tank, which will have to be boiled out (debris in the tank) and pressure checked...fun, fun, fun...

Stenger..Which kit did you purchase? I can only presume that this fits in the passenger compartment end of things...not on top of the transaxle in the rear...I want to buy one, but want a good one...thanks for the info..Tiger 03447

Installed my Lloyd Rubbertite floor mats. I haven't seen anyone else with them, they are a cheap alternative to the carpet mats, and since I DD it in the winter the rubber is nice. They are pretty cheap, I got them from JCWhitney as they had like 10% off and free shipping.

Default Installed GT Racing Headlights

Got a set of carbon buckets, lights and lenses a while ago. I finally got to installing them. Also got rid of the washer bottle, tubing and some minor brackets and tabs behind the bumper. Going to weigh it for the first time since the weight removal began a few months ago. Started at 2950lbs (no driver, half tank o' gas)

Subaru is the wifes, Porsche gets 2x the mpg my Tahoe gets, and I drive 80 miles daily for work. The 944 is amazing in the snow, and almost unstoppable on studded snow tires.

about a year ago i scored a weathertech 944 trunk mat with the anti-spill lip things at the boneyard for like $20.
thing is awesome.

keep it up
but my early 944 is almost entirely stock and weighs about that much with a full tank (~42lbs more than your half tank) and me (225 lbs) in it

I don't know if I want a car that is unstoppable in the snow. Sounds dangerous.
