put two bags of gravel in the back for traction...it really helps the snow tires bite on launches and braking.

ALSO you (and everybody) should look into this if you're running stock clips. VW part, much better, won't ever break, around 5 bucks.

See post 7. Hope that link works; I'm on my cell phone. If not somebody fix it for me...

FINALLY re-installed my passenger door panel. Now my friends can no longer complain about my "ghetto" doors haha. They'll find another thing to complain on though, there's always something!

Installed a set of Koni Sports, a new shifter handle, drained/filled the trans, and replaced two leaking Power Steering lines.

re-indexed the torsion bars for the third time. They say it takes three tries to get it right and I think I like the ride height this time.

Drove approx 15hrs driving yesterday and today on nice twisty back roads going from one end of the north island to the other and back and mostly enjoyed it. car ran like its new and I got out feeling fresh though a bit stiff. Dog enjoyed it too!

had heaps of fun trying to keep my average speed as close to 100kph as possible and taking the fastest line on my side of the road as possible (My pet hate is following people and seeing them cut corners by crossing the centreline!).

was about 30 mins from where i was staying last night when i came around a corner to see at the last minute a possum sit back on its haunches just as i hit him. I pulled over and checked my car for damage but it looked fine.

There was a lot of moths on the roads last night too!

but the rain coming back home today washed them all off.
