More efficient radiators?

Yes, the turbo oil filter mount will bolt straight to the NA block. You'll want to replace the gasket piece, though, and be aware that the heat shield that protects the filter from the headers will probably not fit with the new unit. You should be able to use the same OPRV that was on the car before.
From there, you'll also need the two lines that run between the oil filter mount and the cooler itself, and then the turbo cooler (or an aftermarket unit like a Mocal or Setrab) and figure out a way to mount the cooler, which most guys do by putting it behind the passenger-side foglight opening and building a bracket that attaches to something like the lower radiator mount and/or some part of the bumper/valence/etc.
In addition to providing better cooling of both the oil and the engine (since the coolant is no longer doing double-duty by cooling the oil), this also removes a place where the oil/coolant can mix and generate the dreaded 'milkshake'.

i searched a bit and found a nice picture of the NA and turbo style oil filter housing to show the differences. i see some holes in it which i presume are for oil to flow, but where does the water go? do i have to plug anything in the block or will the filter housing take care of that for me?
