I can't... but if you're going to order longer ones, Paragon has the best price: http://www.paragon-products.com/prod...331.671.01.htm

I just got and installed a set of 72mm ones.

Im just trying to get the specs to maybe find options for lug nuts.

How hard was it to install new ones? I heard they are pressed in? Did you use an arbor press?

Did the same thing to my track car a few weeks ago so that I could play around with different sized spacers.

I did use a press for the front hubs but didn't want to pull the rears so I used an impact wrench to pull the lugs through. Heat the hubs first with a torch and the lugs pull through fairly easily.

What do you mean lug nut options? For track use steel nuts are readily available and cheaper than the aluminum ones that come stock.

I just want a little extra thread engagement for safety... maybe a 5-10mm longer stud.. Just haven't gotten around to that fix yet.

yeah - easy install (I only did the rears). I hammered the old ones out with a sledge hammer (lots of light taps). Then kind of "set" the new ones with an impact wrench - but actually did the "pulling through" with a breaker bar (put a little lubricant on the rounded nose of the lug nut). Worked like a champ. Didn't take too long.

p.s. You do have to take the rear brake rotors off - and I don't have the rear parking brake installed... That might have made things easier.

I just wanted to try to do something different.

Would it be a bad idea to powdercoat the steel lug nuts?

Yes. You don't want anything on the face of the lugnut that can change the torque.

I ordered steel ones on ebay that are zinc coated. With black phonies on the guards red track car it looks good I think and hides dust well.

I had to remove the parking brakes to do the rears. I didn't bother to reinstall the brakes, always looking to save weight (but it is a pain no having them).

Recovering an old thread....

What nut should you use with longer studs?

I changed rims, and took a spacer out. The alu nuts have a blank head, so the studs hit the head before they are tight on the rim. Where can you get "hollow" nuts?

Steel nuts are open-ended. I'm not sure if there are open aluminum ones.

Paragon, pelican, most places carry the open-ended steel nuts.
